The new Nike CR Mercurial Vapor Superfly III creates the illusion that Ronaldo is about to turn in one direction, when actually his feet are about to move a different way. This represents a new milestone where technology, design and fashion are harmoniously integrated to create a truly superior product. 


Styrofoam cups


Using ordinary disposable objects such as straws, styrofoam cups, tape and paper plates, Tara Donovan creates site-specific sculptures that invoke forms found in nature. These monumental installations require hours of tedious assemblage and attention to detail. The result is a truly remarkable transformation for the mundane to the exquisitely beautiful. 


Otto Jakob

After studying painting in the mid 70′s under Georg Baselitz, Otto Jakob set his sights on Jewelry making. One of the few jewelers who’s work transcends the realm of ornament into the practice of fine art. Jakob exhibits at the Daniel Blau Gallery in Munich, Colnaghi in London and at TEFAF in Maastricht.




Based on the book “Team of Rivals” by Doris Kearns Goodwin, Daniel Day Lewis has teamed up with Steven Spielberg to create an epic film depicting the life of  Abraham Lincoln. There exists only a hand full of actor’s with the ability to completely transform themselves into the characters they play, Daniel Day Lewis stands at the top of that list. Filming is expected to begin next fall, and the movie is to be released in late 2012.
