For the Love of God

For the Love of God is sculpture by Damien Hirst, It consists of a Platinum cast of a human skull encrusted with 8,601 flawless Diamonds, including a pear-shaped pink diamond located in the forehead. Death is a central theme in Hirst’s works. He became famous for a series of artworks in which dead animals are preserved in formaldehyde. Undoubtedly one of the most famous living artist he continues to defy convention and never shy’s away from controversy.
